Monday Lunch - Madison Square Park
I have nothing against Subway, but these two people, so enjoying their lunch, are eating in a park across the street from Eately and within spitting distance of the Shake Shack. The choices people make.

Ok, I know the food didn't come from Continental Shredding, but with the explosion of food trucks around the city over the past few years, I wouldn't be completely surprised if somebody making slaw or salads didn't come up with a truck with a name like that.
Come on, now! Don't be so quick to judge the sandwich eaters. As a vegetarian, I know that Shake Shack, despite their delicious shakes, offers not filling victuals for the enlightened kind. Maybe give these two sandwich eaters the "benefit of the doubt" before judging their lunchtime tastes - they could be eating vegetarian sandwiches! (and before you go there - yes they could have eaten a veggie sandwich from a nearby deli, but really, at that location, the choice for vegetarian sandwiches is pretty run-of-the-mill)
ReplyDeleteI am not judging - yes, those could be veggie sandwiches, but there are choices that are made by default - and if you ask me, it's all that marketing that's the fault - and those made with conscious deliberation. Ok, so maybe not Shake Shack but that neighborhood is an eater's delight.
