Portraits from the NYC Queer Liberation March 6/26/2022 -1

 I attended the Queer Liberation March in NYC on 6/26 as an ally. 

This is the first of several posts since I have more photos from Sunday, beginning with these on the train station platform in Chappaqua NY and on the MetroNorth train into the city, where I chatted with and photographed people going to the Pride Parade.

This post will be followed with shots taken in Foley Square while waiting for the Queer Liberation March to set out, and photos taken while on the march and later, a couple on the train home.

The people here all were happy to let me photograph them, posing as they wished me to portray them. For some it was their first Pride Parade and they were joyous and excited.

Pancake the cat vs. the mouse

 I't's been too long since I posted anything here, and I have backlog that I really need to get working on. I promise myself I will.

In the meantime, Pancake the cat cornered a mouse he'd been stalking for hours, dropped him in bathtub and proceeded to play with him until he got bored. He never did finish the little critter off so after he abandoned the chase I stunned the rodent and tossed it out the back door.

Here's a video of Pancake playing with the mouse. Think of this as being akin to the ancient Roman games where lions were used to finish off dissidents such as early Christians.
