It's a sad state we are in when no matter what Doofus Donald Trump says, his devoted followers will swallow it as if it was mother's milk, no matter how outrageous, bellowing their enmity for those who stand against Trump. And of course, the loyal opposition will make their noises at the horrible things sTrump'et says and is doing to our democracy, and neither side will see anything good in the others.

I know not all sTrump'eteers are evil people, not all are repulsive, but when yielding to his lies instead of questioning them, they undermine any moral authority they might claim.

I know all politicians lie, but none that I can remember have lied so often, so deliberately, and two-facedly. Nobody in my memory has attacked facts so dramatically and with such vigor. It's scary.

That people in his administration will tailor their reports to him to avoid having him hear things he doesn't believe, such as DHS not releasing their own findings that the greatest terror threats in the USA now coming from the extremists on the right, or having the FDA political appointees kissing up to Trump and not shooting down his hare-brained ideas about Covid-19 science. His nonsense has helped the USA to over 200,000 deaths - there's a lot of blood on that man's hands and what can he say? "It is what it is."

Folks, if you are thinking for yourself your choice this fall is to either vote for Biden or to abstain. A vote for Trump is a vote for hate, for the destruction of our environment and more violence.

I'm posting a few more photos from the session at the Columbia University Computer Music Center. Featured here are the RCA Mark II synthesizer, the grandaddy of them all, some other  historical electronic music equipment, director of the CMC, Brad Garton, assistant directors Terry Pender and Douglas Repetto.
