William Barr has once more stepped out of his role as the nation's lawyer so that he can work directly for the President. This bad and it is wrong. We know that Doofus Donald was looking for a yes man to be his Attorney General but this is too much. Barr has an agenda as a very conservative person. He has a vision of the country that is out of step with the majority of citizens in that he is blind to racism, blind to sexual prejudice, and blind to freedom from religion, and freedom of religions that are not ones he believes in. He is a strong supporter of big money as long as big money supports him. He is self-serving and determined to do his best to keep sTrump'et in office in order to move his own agenda forward.
Under Barr we can expect his vision of the status quo to become embedded in the nation's legal system and he will step all over legal precedent to do it, just as his boss has stepped all over presidential precedent to try to install himself as the permanent president.
It's frightening. I don't worry about sTrump'et not conceding if he loses the election because the most likely scenarios will have him escorted from the White House on January 20, 2021 if he refuses to leave on his own. I am more concerned that he will so undermine belief in the system that his zombie-like followers become violent, which he has already pushed forward.
His paranoid mind, drawn to outlandish conspiracies and hypothesis untethered by reality, plugged into his mouth and thumbs, communicates directly to the paranoid side of his more demented followers. This is a man who does not see real things, and the things he imagines include him have greater power than before.
I know, I am ranting a little, but I think a rant is required here.
We need to vote Trump out and then see him leave the White House.
Tomorrow I will share my thoughts on what Trump told Woodward and whether he really has boogers for brains.
