Doofus Donald, the asshole-in-chief, is flailing. The winds are blowing against him - the virus won't go away, the deaths are starting to rise, emergency rooms and ICUs are filling in hospitals in states he held up as examples of the way to do things. They tried the Republican way and they failed, and they are too stubborn or too stupid to try to fix the problem because they can't be wrong - they are sTrump'etistas, blowers of his horn, carriers of the message while all around them there are carriers of the virus who are too manly to put on a mask, too Republican to do the right thing.
If this keeps up, we will be a nation divided by those who are willing to do the right thing regardless of the difficulty, and those who won't because it's too Democrat, too liberal and not manly or godly, and if they get sick well then that's what god wants.
Seriously sick thinking is what it is, and it's what is coming out of the White House now as the people who won't play the political game get sucked into it because those who only play the politics don't want to hear news that goes against their received truths. If the Asshole-in-Chief says the virus is going away, then it must be even if 60,000 or 70,000 new cases are diagnosed daily, mostly in places such as Florida, Texas, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Arizona, Nevada, and more, including California.
And the Republican's are going to Jacksonville FL despite the rampaging epidemic, to nominate their beloved idol, their new god, the Doofus Donald, to run again for President. It is not a matter of using one's brains, it's almost a sacred thing. I quote from the NYTimes.com, "An R.N.C. member from Montana, said he had a “duty” to travel to Charlotte and Jacksonville to nominate and support Mr. Trump."
Meanwhile, the Doofus Donald rants that the press, the hospitals, the doctors, his own CDC head, the Surgeon General, are all lying because they want to see him defeated. Doofus Donald, the epidemic wasn't about you until you made it about you, just as you make everything about you. And if you'd done the right thing and backtracked when you made a bad decision so that a better one could be made going forward, it might not be so bad. But there are many deaths that are your responsibility, with more to come. And with you, Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott, so sure they knew better than the epidemiologists who warned them, are mass murderers.
When it comes to leadership, no matter the issue: health, racism, immigration, the environment, what we are getting is either zero or less than zero.
There, I've said it.
We must fight the infection called Donald Trump and unelect him in November.
We must fight the morass called the Republican Party and kick them out of office this year.
It is our duty, perhaps a sacred duty. to the country and for the people.
