Saturday - I've been known to say nobody ever moved to NYC for the weather. Is Trump's campaign floundering?

NYC and the immediate surrounding area is known for hot and humid summers, chilly and damp winters, wet spring and fall, with lots of beautiful days punctuating these extremes. The fall and spring in the region can be quite wonderful, the rainy days easily forgotten and forgiven. But the heat of summer seems to roll out in extending bouts of 90˚+ days and evenings that don't cool down below 70˚. The only person who ever contradicted me saying nobody moves here for the weather was from Chicago, and I guess she didn't know better.

The sTrump'et zombies do seem directionless recently. In one thing following another, they have stood by trying to spin Boogers for Brains' reversals, retreats and regressions. Whether on the virus disappearing becoming it's going to get worse; masks don't help to maybe they do to it's patriotic to wear a mask; Tulsa's going to be great becomes cancelling the big Repulsive convention in Jacksonville because the time's not right; no relief bill and then none without a payroll tax reduction to now supporting an extension of unemployment benefits - his zombies just can't find anything better than retreads of 2016, which more Repulsive voters now find tired and unfulfilled.

To compound their problem, he digs his heels in on issues that even most Repulsives now disagree with such as Confederate monuments and the names of military installations. He has reached the point where he is confronting some serious push back from previously boot licking Repulsive Senators on the military budget bill, which passed with strong bi-partisan support. When it comes before him we can expect a frustrated, infantile outburst of misspelled tweets.

I particularly like him vaunting his so called cognitive test. Designed to help pick up signs of degenerative mental states rather than serve as a measure of intelligence or intellectual ability, his bragging about it demonstrates ignorance and vanity, which combined is never a good combination. And then he implies his Democratic opponent is mentally incompetent. I think the sTrump'et is looking in a mirror when he says these things.

With more Repulsive money moving into Biden's campaign, and away from Doofus Donald's, and support ebbing as Repulsive PACs work toward saving some endangered senators, we can hope to see more and more flailing efforts, like those of a drowning man, over the next  101 days.

So stay the course, America, and unelect Trump, vote against any of his sock puppets and support Democracy in the USA.

Escalator photos - in hope that the Feds are pulled out of Portland in an effort to deescalate the situation they have exacerbated.
