Meanwhile, thugs invaded Bethel, Ohio on Sunday to threaten and cow peaceful sympathizers of Black Lives Matter. According to the local police and other witnesses, the license plates on their vehicles, many arrived on motorcycle, were not local. They didn't peacefully counter-demonstrate but acted as thuggish fascists, claiming a right to chase people they disagreed with from the streets. This is disgusting and I lay their sense of entitlement against Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz and other bigots trumpeting their ultra-right wing, fascist - yes I dare to call them fascist - views that anyone that disagrees with them is an enemy of the state.
It's time for us to unelect the fascists. Work for democracy and freedom of expression.
I used to regularly commute through Grand Central Terminal. The main terminal building is quite beautiful, but underground and around it, the views are much grittier.
The first photo was taken a couple of days after some heavy rains. The particular corridor's ceiling has some pretty serious drips. To keep the floor from flooding, maintenance puts out those ugly yellow cans.
