Friday - is it Memorial Day Weekend already?

Indeed, tonight begins the holiday weekend that usually kicks off summer and here we are, in southern NY state still largely in lockdown. Oh well.

Maybe this weekend I'll post some photos I took in Waterloo, NY and if you understand why, pat yourself on the back but please don't strain your shoulder doing it.

I almost was going to skip tonight. I drank half a bottle of a very nice dry Riesling from Red Tail Ridge, a small but rather good winery on Seneca Lake. This 2017 was quite nice, and pairing it with linguini with pesto worked extraordinarily well, so well in fact that I simply wanted to savor and not do anything else tonight. But that was hours ago.

Back to the subject of food carts and trucks.
