Monday - so why does it feel like Tuesday?

When a person is living "on pause," and can't go out to a show, a restaurant, a movie, hang in the local diner over a cup of coffee, get on the train and head into the city to go to the office, every day starts to seem the same. Monday seems like Tuesday like Wednesday like Thursday like Friday etc. It doesn't matter how good or bad the weather is, there's only so much you can do, so many places you can go and still maintain that required social distance to prevent spreading or getting the covid-19 virus. Does this suck? Yeah, it does but in a way it's better than going out and possibly giving it to other people or getting sick and suffering and maybe even dying, either way, becoming another statistic.

So I hang around, make some phone calls, send a bunch of emails, check-in with friends and family and watch as the numbers slowly come down.

Westchester was hit pretty hard, just as NYC and the whole metropolitan area was. It makes watching Donald Trump look like a complete liar, telling us what great shape we are in. underplaying the reality, overplaying his own wishful thinking. And then there's that masked man in the senate, Moscow Mitch, who thinks it's okay to suck taxes out of some states but not okay to give back when they need it. Makes me cynical, makes me angry.

So when I do go out for a walk on a bright sunny morning, maybe climb up to the top of the Kensico Dam in Valhalla NY, look out across the water, watch some geese flying overhead, marvel at the stone work, tae some photos, and then nod to myself when I look at them, thinking wow, it really is a beautiful thing and that those masons imported, I believe, from Italy with their families, built a bit over 100 years ago, replacing the stone and earth dam that had been built in the 1880s.

These photos are a few studies I made. I'm planning to dd to it.
